A Fitting Title For A Game About An Astral Child, A creature In A Pot And A Weird Hole Somewhere Near Bali
A downloadable game
A game made for Secret Santa Jam 2020. The game autosaves upon losing. For controls, just hover over the 'controls' text on the title screen. To proceed to the game from the skill menu, just click the 'DONE' text. Have fun :P
If you find some major bugs or some text cutting off mid sentence, please, let me know ^.^'
UPDATE:
Expanded the skill tree by two skills (one new skillpoint can be found somewhere near the beginning, while the other one is somewhere near the end of the game)
Moved some enemies around and tinkered with a few enemy types
Fixed the screen damage skill and nerfed some endgame traps
ANOTHER UPDATE (probably the last one):
Added some bits of dialogue
Fixed a very broken enemy
Moved some solids around
ANOTHER ANOTHER UPDATE, SINCE THERE WAS A POTENTIAL JOYKILL BUG:
Fixed the issue with not being able to normal-attack after respawning using the essence travel skill (happened if you died while performing a swing)
ANOTHER ANOTHER ANOTHER UPDATE:
Fixed a potential softlock when killing the Rat King while the screen damage skill was active

I really enjoy the art style in this game, it is a cool creepy vibe. The skill tree for powering up is pretty cool too. I can only wonder what your giftee asked for!
Thanks :D
Unfortunately, it was just what I'm into/comfortable with, since contacting my giftee proved to be kinda difficult and the only things I knew before making the game was that they like a funny narrative, along with just three titles he enjoyed in the past. Not having much directions, I just decided to throw my own vibes into it and hoped they were going to enjoy it ^.^' But I'm not even sure if they played it.
Anyway, I'm really glad about how it turned out and I'm happy that someone actually played it and appreciated the art, so thanks again :P
